At the northern edge of Belmont Beach, Bequia Cottage is a 1000 sqft private vacation home situated on the grounds of a large historic waterfront estate. Expertly designed with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, this unique cottage comfortably accommodates 4 guests.
Situated along the scenic Belmont Walkway, in Port Elizabeth, on the beautiful island of Bequia, this wooden cottage is a historic "chattel house" that was originally located in the Spring area of Bequia, brought to its current location many years ago on the back of an oxcart.

About the island of Bequia
Bequia (Pronounced "Beck-way") is the 2nd largest island of the Caribbean island nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines with a chain of 32 islands and cays spread across an area of 33 sq. miles (86 sq. km), of which on 9 are inhabited and open to the public.
Located in the southeast Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles, St Vincent and the Grenadines has been self-governed since 1969 and became an Independent Sovereign State within the Commonwealth in 1979.
The main island, Saint Vincent, was called Hairouna, “Home of the Blessed” by its original indigenous inhabitants, and nearby Bequia, which means “The Island of the Clouds” in the ancient Arawak language.
Measuring only 7 square miles (18 km2), Bequia has a population of approximately 5,300 people. Relaxed & laid-back with a vibrant, welcoming community, the people of Saint Vincent & the Grenadines are called Vincentians, also "Vincys." They have a deep respect for nature, understanding the importance of preserving the island's natural beauty, emphasizing sustainable practices & environmental conservation.
